Dr. Cheryl Green

A passionate educator, Dr. Cheryl F. Green believes in the transformative power of education to change lives, and throughout her 37-year career has pioneered the innovation of academic enrichment and student success.

The sixth president of Governors State University, Dr. Green’s position is the culmination of her faculty and leadership roles at institutions from Chicago to Wisconsin, also including Tennessee and Michigan. Committed to service, Dr. Green has shared her expertise as a member of numerous advisory boards throughout her career and received dozens of awards and recognitions.
